These terms explain how to use the collection, understand a listing and distinguish browsing from placing an order. Product availability and the checkout page determine whether an order can currently be placed.
The website and the seller
These terms concern the Rome & Oak website. The identified seller is Rome & Oak; the public brand name does not replace that legal identity.
Read the product page together with Shipping, Returns and Privacy. These website terms do not remove consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived, choose an unconfirmed legal jurisdiction or require a remedy to be accepted as store credit.
Browsing and acceptable use
Search and collection filters help you explore products in the browser. A browsing choice is not a request to open an account, reserve stock or receive marketing.
Use the website lawfully and respect other people’s information. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, submit someone else’s information without permission or use automated requests to disrupt the service. Browsing does not require a shopping account. A later purchase must be made by someone able to enter the agreement, or by a parent or guardian on their behalf.
Read the selected item, not just the photograph
Check the selected option, measurements, materials and included components together. A close-up does not establish scale, and a styled room does not make its other contents part of the sale.
Only the item and components expressly included for the selected option are offered. Background furniture, containers, plants and display accessories are separate unless the listing says otherwise.
The selected option, actual measurements and included parts control over an impression created by a scene photograph. If a detail important to your choice is missing, treat it as unanswered. Screen settings and natural variation can affect appearance, but they do not excuse a materially different item or an unsupported specification.
Prices, availability and payment
Prices shown are in US dollars. Any applicable tax and delivery charge must be included in the total shown before you authorize payment.
When an order is available, the selected items and final charges are presented before payment. Keep the order reference and the terms supplied with that purchase.
A discount applies only under its stated conditions. An optional service or a different product should not be substituted without agreement. If a material pricing or description error affects an accepted order, it must be explained before a corrected charge is authorized.
Order records, changes and cancellation
An order acknowledgment records the purchase request; it does not mean that a parcel has shipped. The order record identifies the selected items and charges. A dispatch confirmation identifies the shipment and any available tracking.
Contact customer service promptly to request a change or cancellation. We will check whether dispatch can still be stopped. If the unavailable item cannot be supplied, we will explain the issue and refund the affected order or item. If it has already dispatched, use the Returns policy for the next steps.
Delivery and returns
Handling: 1–2 business days. Transit after dispatch: 3–6 business days. Total estimated delivery: 4–8 business days. Standard delivery costs $5.99 USD.
Request a return within 60 calendar days of delivery. We do not charge a restocking fee. You pay return postage for a change of mind. We cover return postage for an incorrect, damaged or defective item.
If we cannot ship within the promised time, we will provide a revised date and offer the choice to accept the delay or cancel for a refund.
Instructions, safety and intended use
Follow the item’s stated instructions. A material name alone does not establish dishwasher, washing-machine, outdoor or food-contact suitability.
Only use an item for a purpose supported by its instructions and listing. Product copy is not individualized medical, installation or safety advice. If an age, compatibility, fixing or safety requirement is not stated, do not invent it from the photograph or category name.
Content, external links and availability
Photography, product descriptions and website design may be protected by the rights of their respective owners. A listing does not grant permission to copy that content for commercial use or imply an affiliation with a third-party brand.
External services have their own terms and privacy notices. Follow a link only if you want to visit that service. The website may be unavailable during maintenance or because of network or technical failures; this does not remove any rights connected with an existing purchase.
Questions, disputes and updates
Use the published customer-service details with the order reference and a clear description of the problem. We will explain the available next steps without requiring you to waive a statutory remedy.
The date above identifies the wording of this notice. Updates apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise or you agree to a change. Terms shown for a later purchase do not silently replace the terms supplied with an earlier order.
